Is this a physical product?
No. Everything in this shop is an instant digital download. Nothing is printed, packed or shipped. You download the files yourself after checkout.
How do I download the files?
Your download link is emailed to you as soon as your payment clears, and it also appears on your order confirmation page.
The download is a zip file. It will save on a phone, but it is far easier to unzip on a computer. You can download it again from the same link.
Do I need Canva, a subscription, or studio management software?
No to all three. There is nothing to sign up for and no free trial to start.
The print-ready versions are ordinary PDFs, which open on anything. The editable files are standard Word documents and one standard spreadsheet — no macros, no locked fields, no design software.
This also is not scheduling or invoicing software, and deliberately so — studio software already does that well. This covers the conversational and administrative part that software leaves out: what to say, what to send, in what order.
What exactly can I edit?
All of it. Nine Word documents and one spreadsheet, all editable — text, wording, headings, your studio name. The parts meant to be changed are shaded so you can see them at a glance.
The wording is written for one-to-one teaching generally, so it is not locked to piano — voice, guitar, strings and winds all work. A few examples lean piano because that is where the vocabulary is most settled, and those are just as editable as everything else.
The editable files are set in Arial, which both Windows and Mac include as standard, so you are not depending on a font you may not have. The print-ready PDFs are separate and unaffected — they print exactly as designed either way.
What paper sizes are included?
Both US Letter and A4, in separate folders. Each set is composed for its own paper size rather than one size scaled to fit the other, so the margins and line breaks are correct in whichever you use. Use one folder and ignore the other.
Can I print these at home?
Yes. Nothing depends on color to be understood, so a black and white home printer is enough. They also print correctly at a print shop if you prefer.
Can I use these with my own students and clients?
Yes — that is what they are for. Personalize them with your own details and use them in your practice for as long as you like. What you cannot do is resell, share or redistribute the files themselves, or sell them on as a template or product of your own.
One note on the studio policy specifically: it is a plain-language statement of how your studio runs, not a legal contract. These documents are administrative and informational, not legal advice, and requirements differ from place to place — please check the policy and enrollment form against whatever applies where you teach.
Do you accept returns?
Because the files are delivered instantly and cannot be returned, digital downloads are not cancellable once purchased. That is why every page is shown in the product photographs before you buy.
If a file is damaged, will not open, or is not what the product page described, message me within 30 days of purchase and I will send a working file or refund the order.
What if I have a problem with a file?
Message me and tell me which file and what happens when you open it. I usually reply within one business day, and I will either send a working file or refund you. A file that does not open is my problem, not yours.
