In printing, the first proof is the copy that comes off the press to be checked before the run is printed. It is the moment something stops being a draft. That is what this shop is named after, and it is what it sells: work that has already been thought through.
FirstProof makes complete systems for people who run a practice alone — teachers, tutors, small studios. Not a single form. Not a folder of unrelated templates. A sequence, in the order you actually use it, where every document tells you when it is used, what comes before it and what comes after.
Everything here is built from scratch as a set. The documents match each other because they were designed together. They are deliberately plain, because what you hand a client should look like your practice, not like something bought online.
The product images are real pages from the real product, rendered from the source files. Nothing is a mockup of something that does not exist. If a page is in the photographs, it is in the download.
Our document systems come in US Letter and A4 in separate folders, each composed for its own paper size, with editable files in standard formats. No account to create, no subscription, no design software required.
FirstProof opened in 2026. Rather than ask you to take a new shop's word for anything, every page of every product is shown in full in the product photographs before you buy — rendered from the files you receive.
